It was in Moret-sur-Loing, delegated municipality of Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne, that the 23e congress of the “Most Beautiful Detours of France”, which brought together more than 170 participants.

On this occasion, the president of the association, Hervé Mariton, former minister and mayor of Crest, presented the results of a survey carried out by Harris Interactive. They focused on “the practices and perceptions of the French regarding tourism in towns of 2 to 000 inhabitants”.

94% of French people have a good image of these small towns, which they consider to be “pretty, pleasant, historic, attractive”. They like to go there to stroll, admire its heritage or discover its gastronomy.

Instructive results to convince even more tourists to make the detour to these 108 most beautiful small towns in France.
