Founded in the XNUMXth century, the village of Blesle is home to one of the oldest Benedictine abbeys in Auvergne. The abbey church has a rich sculpted decoration which develops both on the modillions and the capitals, interior or exterior. Interest is also focused on the entrance portal decorated with a set of arches punctuated with widely bloomed flowers. You have to push the door to discover elements of wall painting dating from the XNUMXth, XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries.
