Flying over the cereal-growing plain of Fontannes, the Ash Harrier, "prince of wheat", will perhaps accompany you to the elbow of Billanges. On the way back, you will pass near the fountain where St Eutrope quenched his thirst on the way to Santiago de Compostela.

In Fontannes, take the road in front of the town hall, then another on the right. At the next crossroads, turn left towards Bonnefont (agricultural school). At the roundabout, continue straight ahead.

Cross the Ternivol and turn right immediately. 500 m further on, cross the stream again and go up to the left towards an old mine
of coal, up to the plateau (view of the chain of puys).

At the crossroads, turn right onto the track (view of Brivadois and the Allier valley). After 100 m, go left towards Frugerolles. At the entrance to the village, go down to the right. Before the communal oven and the wash house, follow the street on the right, cross the Chaniat stream and continue. Join a perpendicular road.

Follow it to the left for 30m, then turn right. At the D 19, take it to the right for 100 m then turn left just before a road bridge. Follow the path to the bridge over the railway line.

At the Coin, take the path on the left to Billanges (on the square,
shoeing loom, fountain and room with tarare).Follow the road to the right. Pass the last farm and stay to the right. Leave the tar at height
of a stone cross. Take the path opposite until
the D20.

Cross it and follow the road towards Buze for 500 m. Take the first path on the left, then turn right twice to go up to Buze. In the hamlet, follow the road to the left.

Take the first red dirt road on the right. Leave two paths on the left; descend and pass through the woods, on the most marked path. At the end of the wood (view of the Limagne de Brioude and the Allier valley), turn right.

A larger crossing (on the right, off the circuit towards the Saint-Eutrope fountain), continue opposite. Follow the D20 to the left and return to Fontannes (Roman Byzantine style church).
