From Chaniat church, take the lane to the left of the war memorial then take the first left and go down the small road.
At the intersection, continue down the road to the right, 1 km after Chaniat. In a wide bend to the left, leave this road; take the one on the right which, after 50 m, becomes a path. Continue to Pressat (common oven, Saint-Roch chapel). Cross the hamlet and walk along the chapel on the right.
20 m later, take the path in the undergrowth. At the wide track, turn left.
At the road, continue towards Védrines (former windmill). Before the hamlet, turn left on a wide track towards Agnat and drive 1 km.
In a very sharp bend, leave the track for a path on the right which goes up in the woods to La Brousse (church in ruins, private, and windmill) (view of the Margeride, the Cantal, the Cézalier and the Sancy ).
At the intersection, just after the place called, take the track on the left alternately
tarmac/path going up along the old mill. Leave it for a path on the left which goes down between the trees. Pass the 2 ravines. At the fork, go up the winding path to the left. Join a path that rises steeply and take it to the right then turn left 100 m later. At the edge of the wood, continue straight along the field.
You reach a wide track which you follow to the right. The path becomes a road and joins the D126. Follow it to the right for 100 m then go down to the left. Cross the Lavadou stream and go up to Neyrolles (washhouse).
In the hamlet, go down to the right. At the last houses, follow the wide dirt road to the right passing through the undergrowth, as far as a small road (view of Chaniat). Take it to the right until Chaniat.
