Opposite the town hall [O> Calvary], borrow
on the right, rue des Carrières (D 17) and, on the left, the impasse de la Charreyre to leave the town. After a small bridge which crosses the Leuge stream, turn left onto a path. At the fork, stay left on the red dirt track
which we will follow for almost 1 km.
At the intersection with the railway, continue on the left on the path which goes up under the ruins [view of the ruins of the Château de Laroche]. In Laroche, turn right twice to take rue de la Bergère (D 173) which crosses the village. Cross the railway line via the level crossing (> be careful!) and continue straight on the Trendon road (D 19).
Take rue de Faugères on the left [O> Fontaine]. At the farm, turn left again, onto a track. Further on, let a path go to the right and, at the next fork, opt for the right lane. To
following junctions, stay left and emerge onto the D 17. Follow it to the right for approximately 500 m.
Turn right onto a path which evolves along the edge and returns to the road. Follow it to the right for about 100 m and, at the entrance to Pouget, take the straight rue de la Mare on the left. At the end, turn left to cross the hamlet. Continue on the road, then turn right at the T. At the next fork, stay left.
At the end of the road, near a house, turn left onto a sand path. Further on, he cuts a road. The path curves to the right and comes to a junction, along the edge of the same road.
Turn left to follow the railway line, then cross it using a level crossing (> be careful!) to reach Lauriat [O> fortified house]. Cross then follow the D 19 on the left
(> be careful!) for around 250 m, then follow the path on the right. At the road, turn left for 50 m.
Take a path on the right [O> view of the Livradois-Forez mountains and the ruins of the Laroche castle]. At the T with the road, turn right for a few meters, then take a path on the left which
returns to Bournoncle-Saint-Pierre. In the village, turn left to find the starting point [O> Saint-Pierre church].
