The Brioude Sud Auvergne mountain bike circuits, a treat!

Passionate about mountain biking and living in the territory of Brioude Sud Auvergne, I have traveled most of the mountain bike circuits of the Community of Communes of Brioude Sud Auvergne. The first words that come to mind are: pleasant and friendly.

The different colors of markings make it easy to identify the difficulty levels of the circuits. They range from green for the easiest to black for the more difficult, a bit like skiing! A travel plan allows you to identify them and choose your route.

I started with the trails located around Brioude (circuits 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 13; 14) starting with the simplest in difficulty to finish on the more complex (red, noir).

DOWNHILL MTB CIRCUIT

Then, after having done all the “classic” circuits, I took the Enduro circuits number 13 (red) and 14 (black). Circuit number 13 is very pleasant because the view over the Sénouire valley is really interesting with however a really dangerous portion because the passage is not wider than a bicycle and there is a void on the right, apart from that the circuit is well laid out. Circuit 14 is longer and much more technical, we feel that it was traced by descenders (the Pierron brothers, well known to downhill mountain biking aficionados) for descents: the physical requirements for this circuit are clearly superior to that of other circuits. It is reserved for confirmed people.

CIRCUITS ON Blesle

The circuits of Blesle are more difficult because the relief is more important. The 4 circuits in this area are however very pleasant to do in good weather, especially to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Alagnon valley, from Chadecol or Léotoing for example.

To conclude, all Com Com circuits are labeled and controlled by the FFC. They are pleasant and well signposted and are also accessible to all levels. You just have to choose your own according to your abilities. I highly recommend them
