Romain Castanie is passionate about drawing and comics. Totally self-taught and very curious, he explores different techniques.
He works with modeling and papier-mâché, combining natural materials. Fauna and flora constitute the basis of his inspiration as well as problems linked to the environment.
After a career as an architect, Christine CHARBONNEL tried new forms of expression, different from drawing that was too “rational” in her eyes. “The adventure began during confinement. Taking advantage of authorized escapades, I began to collect the materials offered by nature (bark, driftwood, stones and pebbles, plants, etc.) and to assemble them into “sculptures”, leaving my hands free to create as I pleased. instinct. »
