Micro-Folie Brioude

Micro-Folie Brioude opens to the public every Wednesday until the next holidays, at the Doyenné, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m.

Wednesday February 14: 10:30 a.m., at the Digital Museum “Games and toys in art for toddlers” (3-5 years) - & Mini-lab; 15 hours. Mini-conference & Mini-lab “The Olympics in art” - 7/13 years old; 16:30 p.m., UBISOFT – Assassin’s creed Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt.

Inspired by the Folies du Parc de la Villette designed by architect Bernard Tschumi, the Micro-Folies are places dedicated to art and artistic and cultural education for the whole family and from a very young age.
At Micro-Folie, the largest national and international cultural institutions (Centre Pompidou, The Louvre, the Picasso Museum, the Paris Opera, the Quai Branly Museum, etc.) make their works available to the public free of charge in a museum digital. Thanks to this high-performance tool you will have access to the greatest masterpieces in augmented and high-definition version, you will be able to interact and explore in complete freedom, according to your desires and your curiosity, using tablets that give you access to numerous educational and fun resources and tools, for a unique experience.
Open to the whole family, the Micro-Folie can be discovered independently or accompanied by a mediator, who will offer a varied thematic program.
La Micro-Folie de Brioude will have a “virtual reality” space, which will offer you a unique experience, sometimes in space, sometimes at the bottom of the sea, sometimes inside the canvases of the greatest painters thanks to a exclusive content designed by Arte.
The Mini-Lab, a creative space for little ones, will allow children to learn about artistic practice and discover the pleasure of doing it yourself, through a program of thematic workshops.

Micro-Folie will be open at the Doyenné until the end of May. It will be open: every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. outside school holidays, from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. during school holidays
