At l'Escargot des Murailles, we are two enthusiasts: Antoine Chenard (who created the farm in 2) and Nicolas Huguet. We hatch, raise and process around 2005 large gray snails per year.
Our range of products is available in fresh products (in shells, croustades, mini choux, brioches, etc.) and in jars (for spreads, veloutés, pecks, etc.).
Our farm is in Jumeaux, in the south of Puy de Dôme, close to the Haute Loire and Cantal. Antoine created the breeding business there in 2005. Nicolas joined him as an employee in 2017, then as a partner in 2023.
We practice breeding with a low density, without chemical inputs, respecting the snails as much as possible. In processing, we use local or garden products as much as possible.
